Nag Privacy Policy


Here at Delicious Software we take your privacy seriously. We want to be very clear about what data we collect and how we use it. All of the data we collect is to make the Nag a better service; like relevant advertisements and error reporting. We want to make it clear how we use your information and what you can do to protect your privacy.


We collect information from your phone or smart device to make the Nag a better service for everyone. We collect this information in two ways:


The information You Give Us

When you sign up for the Nag we collect information so we can identify you from other Nag users. Like a display name and email address. All of this information is encrypted in our database, with the exception of Display Name , for searching, and is not accessible to employees of Delicious Software. The amount of this information depends on the type of registration.


Information We Receive from You using the Nag

We collect information about when and how you use the nag. This information can include:

Device Information

We may collect device specific information (such as hardware model, OS version, device identifiers).


Log Information

When you use Nag service we automatically collect and store information in server logs. This information may include:


  • IP Address

  • Device event information like crashes

  • Request information sent from your phone and response information sent back to your phone


Location Information

When you use Nag location based (based on a place) Nags and Proximity based (based on your proximity to another Nag user) we collect location information. We may process your actual location based on GPS signals or rough location using network location services (WiFi information or Cell Tower information). Any location collected that directly pinpoints your location is encrypted and not accessible to employees of Delicious Software.


Local Storage

We may store information to your local smart device. This information may include your location and it may be stored in application cache stores.


Unique Client Identifiers

We generate a Unique Identifier for you when you register with the Nag. This will be used to identify your device during communication with the Nag servers. It will also be used for debugging purpose shall you ever run into a problem.


How we use the information we collect


We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect and improve the Nag services. We also use this information to provide tailored content like relevant ads.


If you contact Delicious Software we may keep a record of your communication to help solve issues. If you provide an e-mail address we may contact you about our services. We also may contact you directly through the Nag system using the information you provided when you registered to use the Nag.
